This thing is pretty dang solid
I carry a few different ways to start a fire when I leave home for a trip but having a rod this hefty makes it incredibly easy to use.
Plus the cordage that it comes with is beautiful and useful as well.
I’ve bought several other types fo ferro rods from other brands but they are not on the same level as this one.
From the cordage, scraper, and carabiner.
It always throws a perfect amount of sparks and lit exactly what I needed.
Having the Fire Tinder that came with it is super easy to light. Majority of time it lights up in one strike.
Which I really like because im saving the life of the Ferro Rod. To me it was worth the cost.

This ferro rod works well and throws plenty of sparks. The only thing that i didn’t like was that it came with too much paracord. I had to cut like a foot off because it was too much and I couldn’t get the same knot that it came with. So I tied my own knot.
