As the instructions suggested I took a golf ball sized portion of the tinder out to my fire pit to try it out. It lit up instantly with one spark from my flint and burned for way more than long enough to ignite some thin twigs to get the fire going.
This tinder is excellent. I’ll be buying this again and intend to check out some of the of the fire gear available as well.

Yea it’s a basic general fire starter. Not really sure what its made of. It did light my campfire with ease. I did have to add more to keep the kindling lit. I do wish that it lasts longer.
